The Perfect Time for Flat-Tip

The Perfect Time for Flat-Tip

Our newest professional hair extension method is as versatile as they come: a seamless blend of I-Tip and Tape-In extensions that achieves the strand-by-strand movement of the former and the unparalleled comfort of the latter. Flat-Tip is a popular choice year-round for many clients, but we maintain that now is the best time to invest in Flat-Tip, for a couple of reasons…

It’s heat-friendly.
Though we never recommend intentionally exposing extensions to heat, heat is basically inevitable—especially in the coming summer months. And as far as extensions go, I-Tip/Flat-Tip’s bead attachments do pretty well in the sweaty, sticky summer weather. That’s because, should anything go awry, beaded extensions are the easiest to correct. The beads are not melted or glued to the hair, so there’s less risk of bond deterioration causing damage to the hair itself. Any compromised or slipping bonds can simply be loosened and replaced with a little visit to the salon.

It’s hat-friendly.
Due to Flat-Tip’s flat nature, this extension method—like Tape-In—is particularly suited to hats. These extensions sit comfortably and easily against the client’s head without any maintenance, so hat-wearers won’t need to fuss with their hair every time they put the hat on or take it off.

It moves easily.
Even though these extensions lay flat against the head, they move just as gracefully and naturally as your own hair. This is because of the strand tip of the extension, and it happens to allow for great scalp ventilation in the warmer months. Just let your hair get caught in the breeze to see what we mean.

It’s on sale.
Right now (and through the end of June) you can purchase Flat-Tip extensions for 15% off as part of our May-June promotion. Head over to your local distributor today to check out the offerings: we carry Flat-Tip in 22” lengths and 16 colors.
