3 Time-Saving Tools for Installing Hair Extensions

Installing extensions can take anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours, depending on a number of factors including hair length and thickness and the method of extensions you’re working with. Generally speaking, Tape-In extensions tend to go in quickest, while fusion extensions take a bit longer. However, Babe offers numerous hair extensions tools that, besides simplifying the installation process in these various methods, actually save you time as well!

Babe Loop Tool
The loop tool is specifically created for installing I-Tip extensions, which attach to the natural hair via tiny crimped beads. Installing the beads one by one can be an extremely time confusing process, but the loop tool simplifies all this. You can load up to 50 beads onto the nylon loop before the installation so when it’s time to rock, you won’t have to spend all that time going back and forth to load beads onto the hair. Quick Pick Hair Parter
This one’s a favorite among our stylists because of how handy it is. The pick attaches to your finger (it’s adjustable) and gives you an extra point (not too sharp!) to quickly  and efficiently part hair where you need to. It’s the same principle as a rat tail comb, but since you won’t have to spend time picking up and putting down the comb, you shave precious seconds off your installation time, good for you and your client!  Monster Clip
These babies get the job done just dandy, clipping to client hair to keep upper layers up and out of the way so you can get into the nitty gritty of the lower layers. They’ve got a unique snap closure that’s ultra gentle on hair (meaning it won’t pull or snag!) and best of all, they come in both pink and black! Get them here.
